Tri-M Promotes High Levels In Music
The purposes of Tri-M, or Modern Music Masters,
are to create and maintain high standards of music.
Students must pass the Tri-M test by learning the
constitution, song, names of local officers, location
of the main offices, and chapter number. The club
organizes an annual induction ceremony and a
spring banquet, and meets on call. Officers this
year are Tim Noble, president, Buth Baber, vice-
president, Carolyn Ebert, secretary, Sam Goodwin,
treasurer, and Sandra English, historian.
Swing Choir performed at home and exchange
concerts and at many other seasonal and social
events, the girls in identical dresses and the boys
in similar suits. The members create steps and
dance routines to accompany their songs.
Tigerettes and Majorettes perform at half-time
shows for games. They consist of l4 girls who work
industriously sewing outfits and matching steps
with themes cf their songs. Sally Crowden is head
Tigerette and Iudy Craft is head Majorette.
