Scheduling students is just one of the
many time-consuming tasks which confront
the deans. The clean of boys is Mr. Noel
Davis, and the dean of girls is Miss Patricia
In line with the reorganization of many
school systems, the Peru city schools were
merged this year with those of Erie ana
Peru Townships to form the Peru Com-
munity schools. This involves the ad-
dition of two members to the school board.
The board, now including seven men:-
bers, makes rules concerning all oi tie
Peru public schools. Many probleizis cor

portant items of discussion was a Siixi'

during the year.

Heading cr high school is a difficult job,
but Mr. Earl Delph performs his duties with
enthusiasm. Mr. Delph carries out the poli-
cies of the school board, supports school pro-
tects, and supervises other phases of PHS's
curricular and extra-curricular activities.
Whether he is giving the morning announce-
ments, encouraging the ball teams at pep ses-
sions, or arranging auditoriums, Mr. Delph is
always interested in every student. Because
of Mr. Delphs encouragement, many students
have been persuaded to remain in school.
Teachers and students alike have found in
him a genuine friend.
