vi CLASS HISTORY The Class of 59 began twelve long years ago Dur1ng these twelve years many memorable thrngs happened The fondest of these memorres were made whrle we were rn h1gh school In the seventh grade the brave boys had to face 1n1t1at1on Even though the b1g freld rn back of the school 15 gone now the memory of that long run around rt strll remaxns Also the rolled up pant legs the tnsrde out shlrrs and the belt lrne are st1ll fresh ln mmd There was the day ln the erghth grade when the grrls 1nv1ted the boys to a spaghettr dlnner whrch they prepared rn the Home Economrcs room Oddly enough rt was qurte good' In the mnth and tenth grade we made Hershey Park Pennsylvama our vacauon spot for one day a year We held our frrst school dance the vwtnter Carmval whrle IH the tenth grade A few frozen hayudes were held between the erghth and tenth grade Then there was the Jumor Senror Prom on May 10 1958 Under a red tent and a blue sky we spent a wonderful Arabran Nrght complete wrth harem grrls Before we knew rt we were answerrng roll call rn the old semor home room It was all ours now But our class problems only doubled rn the semor year Wrth our studres we st1ll had to prepare the TIDE hold the Ebb Tlde Dance on January 20 plan for a class trtp to New York on May 1 3 and then practrce the long march for Graduauon June 8 1959 Now that II s over all we can say IS that rf we had the chance we would do ll all over and not make one change however we must look to the future mstead But we shall never forget our years at Perryvrlle l-hgh School and more than once w1sh to return 14 Q A . pffif .',i'3 , My 52.51 'fkit ' , , . .
