Allen reigns As Queen Sheila Allen was elected 1979 Homecom- ing Queen by the football team. She was crowned October 12 in an afternoon assembly by football captains Jesse Munn and Tommy Bull. The maids, elected by the student body, were escorted by other football players. After the crowning ceremony, all four cheerleader squads led a pep rally. In the pregame activities, Sheila was crowned by her father, Thomas Allen. The maids were escorted by their fathers.
