In a short time, too, it will serve as some adultfs key to reminiscence. As remembrance is a yearbooks purpose, the Mustang serves well only if it causes readers to remember high school in Perryville, 1963-1964. Emphasis A picture of a familiar landmark, Perryville High School, begins the section in which we emphasize the importance of our school in relation to the community. We hope to accentuate on these pages the role played by the school and its stu- dents in the overall activities of our community. 2 Alma Mater ALMA MATER, WE'LL REMEMBER YOU [ I ’■ 1 THROUGH THE YEAIfb, REMAINING EVER TRUE, PARTIES, DANCES, FRIENDS FOUND HERE Dedication The Senior class of 1963-64 wishes to dedicate their annual to Mr. A. D. Rainev in deep appreciation for his many years of service and devotion to Perryville High School. Mr. Rainey has taught for forty-one years, twelve at Perryville. ADMINISTRATION Board of Education STANDING: Mr. Floyd Gardner, President: Mr. Bernard Growns, Mr. J.A. Shelton, Secretary; Hervie Henley, Super 1 nt end ent. SEATED: Mr. Mr. C.A. Ezell. 6 SUPERINTENDENTS MESSAGE It is with pleasure that I congratulate you seniors of this year for the fine work and co-operation of the past years at Perryville. I hope that you can look back on your school days as a real asset to you. Continue to strive for the best in whatever field you undertake and I'm sure you will have a useful and successful life. Hervie J. Henley, Superintendent Administrators PRINCIPALS MESSAGE We are now in a critical period of un- employment, and the number of drop-outs in high schools are adding thousands to that number each year. You as a student must realize that without a high school education you are likely to be one among that number. Therefore it is my sincere desire that each student in this school will consider that an education is important and complete high school. Glen F. Watts, Principal KARL MELTON Facu EARL MELTON MRS.
