IOHN S. RINEHART Superintendent Mr. Rinehart, our superintendent, first came to Perrysburg High School in 1947. It seems he set a record by winning the admiration and respect of the student body in such a short time. The graduating class of 1951 is especially grateful to Mr. Rinehart for all he has done to make years here in PHS happy ones. Mr. Rinehart earned his B.S. in Education and his M.A. in Sociology and School Administration at Bow- ling Green State University. He has completed some work toward his Ph.D. at the University of Wisconsin and at Ohio State University. dministration O. C. TREECE Principal As Principal of Perrysburg High School, Mr. Treece has guided many faltering Freshmen through the por- tals of PHS and on to the gateway of life. It has been through his guid- ing hands that many students have gone forward to meet the challenges of everyday living. For these reasons we are greatly indebted to him for our wonderful high school years. Mr. Treece earned his B.S. in Edu- cation at Bowling Green State Uni- versity and received his M.A. at Columbia University. Besides his many other duties Mr. Treece also teaches freshmen algebra.

Dedication .... To all of our boys who have left the halls of P. H. S. to serve in our armed forces to help make this a better world for all of us. No matter what branch of service, what rank, or where they are posted we want them to know that they are not being forgotten and we think of them always. It is these boys that will fight for our American rights to make the world an understanding and more peaceful place for ns at home. To all these boys - - - we dedicate the 1951 BLACK AND GOLD.

Perrysburg Board Oi Education Perrysburg High School has been and is very fortunate and wise in having such an outstanding group of men which constitute its Board of Education. Many of its present members have been serving our school and community for several years in this respect. It is to this group that we owe our thanks and appreciation for its outstanding accomplishments and tireless efforts in managing our sehool's business affairs. This year as before the members have shown deep regard for the passing of the Bond Issue and the many plans for bettering Perrysburg's educational system.
