S. Afterla few weeks of getting acquainted with the right and the wrong rooms of the building, Mr. Canfield, our sponsor, called a meeting of the Freshman Class. This year our members took a greater interest than ever in school activities. We gave a Christmas party and with the Sophomores, sponsored the ban' quet. During the course of the year, two of our classmates, Irene Goeckerman and Alfred Snyder, were elected to the National Honor Society. When vacation time drew near, we realized we had but one more year in P. H. S., and our spirits dampened. We resolved to make it our most successful year. JG CHAPTER EOUR The fifty-one students who returned to the beautiful new home of P. H. S. were determined to leave behind them a record of which P. H. S. would be proud of in years to come. S octal Chairman We continued the old custom of publishing the i'Somethin ' every six weeks. ' At the end of the first semester the following members were elected to the National Honor Society: Homer Reitz, Margaret Tinney, Velma Swartz, Vera Ward, Ella May Plummer, and Ethel Cupp. We are proud of our classmates who have received this honor. Under the sponsorship of Mr. Barber and Miss Eorsyth we feel our Senior year has been successful. Twenty-Seven
