While we were having vacation last summer, there was much activity in the school house. Our room was completely painted a soft greerxwith dark green accents, a new sink was installed, we have a new library table, a new teacher's desk, and new tables and chairs for each of us. They have plastic tops,so that we can work with paint, clay, etc with- out harming them. Bobbie Quinton, from New Mexico, was our only new pupil this year. Georgann Todd moved to Portland, and Jim Enyart came back from the Orchards district. The Lucky Health club was the name chosen for our h-H club. Our president was Bobby Quinton, vice-president was Sandra Johnson, sec- retary was Jean Ediger, song leader was Douglas Rosenbalm, and reporter was Lena Gingerich. we have enjoyed several radio programs each week. They are about health, science, music, art, literature, and social studies. We have learned much, too, with out movies about other people and the way they live 0 The first and second grades joined us in a Christmas play called UHeigh-Ho, It's Christmas.n We decorated our Christmas tree with Hdxgs we made in art classes, and had a wonderful Christmas party. The fourth grade girls were hostesses for the Halloween Party, and the boys were hosts for the Valentine party. The third grade helped with the Easter party. The games and refreshments were greatly enjoyed by everyone.
