President, Sam Stewart, Vice President, Bob Edigez-5ecretary Treasurer, Student Council Representative, Marilyn Cooper, Adiser Mr. Hanna. The class matic is 'Behind us the past, arolmd us the present, and before us the future. The flower is the white rose-bud and the colors are lavender and white. The seniors participated in the annual carnival by running the Bingo Booth, Basloet Ball Throw, Penny Flip, Door Prize, Turkey Raffle, and aslo took charge of the Dutch Auction. Their princess for the carnival was Shirley Dodson. Two girls from the Senior class were cheer leaders for the 1953- Sh sport year. They were Shirley Dodson and Marilyn Cooper. On February 214, the Senior class went to the employment office in Salem to take the G. A. T. B. Tests. On December h, the senior class presented the 3-Act play, Bolts and Nuts . The cast was: Shirley Dodson, Rebecca Boltg Marilyn COOPSI3 Benita Boltg Sharon Rosenbalm, Lutie Spinksg Sharon Ralph, Martha Grubfg Lorena Beyerle, Miss Pruenella Egg Pat Driscoll, Mrs. Gertie Glossopg Donnel Stapleton, Wilber Glossopg Dick Cooper, Twink Starr, Sam Stewart , Dr. I-Iippocrates Joyg Irvin Bissell, Mr. Phineas Plunkett, Bobby Ediger, Dr. Gordon, Bill Glass, Cadwaleder Clippyg Benny Rempel, Henry Goober. The seniors also participated in the 1-Act play contest. Their play was Going, Going, Gone . There were 3 new members added to the class. They were: Bill Glass, Norman Quillin, and Diana Tiffany. Several parties were held for the seniors, some of which were: spaghetti feed at Sharon Rosenba.lm's, party at Shirley Dodson's ,din- ner given by Hrs. Forbes, party after 3-Act play by Mr. Hanna, Senior dinner given by Sharon Ralph. The seniors trip was taken in May. Places visited were Portland, Oregon, Seattle, Washington, and Victoria, British Columbia. Baccalaureate was held May 30, and commencement exercises June '3 The seniors planning to continue on to school are: Sam Stewart, Sharon Rosenbalm, Sharon Ralph, and Irvin Bissell.
