“q!040'Z4 .SS 4? p 'i q5 Zi .O WMM fall The honor roll for the first semester standing was as follows: freshmen, Roy Chaping sophomore, Helen Nazarenusg junior,Darlene Massey John Barth, Marietta Etzel, Janice Dodson, senior, Sam Stewart, Sharon Ralph, Sharon Rosenbalm, Shirley Dodson, Marilyn Cooper, Dick Cooper, and Irvin Bissell. qua' Ariana GAA honors go to Sharon Rosenbalm, Sharon Ralph, Shirley Dodson, Marilyn Cooper, Lorena Beyerle, and Pat Driscoll, seniors, who received pins at graduation, Since these girls were freshmen, they have madeib points a year, to make a total of 200 points. The points are awarded for athletic activities. 7. sf. ,4. Sharon Rosenbalm was honored by being made a state honorary member of FHA. The delegates of the 19514 state FHA conference held March I4 and 5 at Corvallis were Marietta Etzel and Janice Dodson. 7, 7. ,4, Eleven members were awarded the chapter farmer degree. Five members were awarded the greenhand. They were: Roy Chapin, Raymond DeJong, Rudy Gingerich, Virgil Zunck, and Norman Quillin. At the state convention Donnel Stapleton, Sam Stewart, and Benny Rempel were awarded the state farmer degree. ' In public speaking Roy Chapin won the honor of placing second in the district, first in the sectional, and fifth in the state. Donnel Stapleton held the honor of being district vice-president and winning first in the Talent Night contest, at the state F. F. A. convention. A Bob Stewart was emcee of the annual Talent Night, atthe dmie FFA convention. The state association gave Perrydale the honor of becoming a Madzr chapter. It is based on the chapters completed program of work. Out of the state's 9h chapters, there are 39 master chapters.
