Q ei' was 'f l 3 X Q , V ' . . .. - -V ' Q' il fl A i DAVID RAYMOND DOUGLASS WE, the classes of '45 wish to extend a hearty welcome to Mr. David Raymond Douglass, recently returned from the Army. In the spring of 1941, Mr. Douglass left his position of Vice' Principal, which he had held for fifteen years, to be commissioned a lieutenant colonel in the U. S. Army. He was stationed at Camp Huston, Virginia, and later at Camp Stuart, Georgia. He returned to civilian life in December of 1944, and on january 3, 1945 resumed his duties as Vice' Principal of Perry. We are glad to have him back at work with the Faculty and students to main' tain the high standards of Perry. 7 ' CHARLES W. SPARKS DURING the absence of Mr. Douglass, Mr. Charles W. Sparks substituted as VicefPrincipal, leaving his work as art instructor. Fulfilling his duties as Vice' Principal with justice and equity to all, M1'. Sparks won the admiration and ref spect of the entire school. We, the grad' uating classes of '45, wish to congratulate Mr. Sparks for a fine job well done. Page Nine
