I ,I K I .-.JI I I X f .-W Promoting interest in the history of our state and community is the job of the three jr. Histori- cal Chapters in our school whom we shall call our seahorses. The first was formed in 1946 and divided later to accommodate more mem- bers. ln 1952 there was still another division to fonn the Chester A. Arthur Chapter for the high school, now under the supervision of Mr. Mitchell. The Sea Ser- pent and Mary jemison Chapters are under the supervision of Miss Cook.
