Taking office at a time of tremendous change, Dick did an out- standing job of coordinating student and faculty relationships. Assisting Dick, and--in addition-taking charge of all student elections, was Vice-President Ray Mossholder. Dick and Ray were aided throughout the year by Secretary Diana Guthiel and Treasurer Chuck Head. These people more than upheld the trust showed them by the student body.

As in any democratic government where so many diverse opinions and backgrounds are represented, the Student Board regularly is faced with heated debates and wide differences of opinion. But, M :Q Q again as in a democracy, these differences 41 ln are finally and satisfactorily 1 A resolved to the point of high coordination and efficiency. Here is formed the 4,14 studen't's embryonic acquaintances with government as it functions in the Q far Wider fields of city, state and Union. And here-it is hoped- is born the understanding of Democracy. 'QQ' 17 W
