Sophemores Gain Maturit , Experience The Sophomores came to school realizing they were no longer the new- est class. They felt a sense of belong- ing to their class cmd to the school. The class members, now knowing the traditions and the procedures at PHS, were not as frightened or as helpless as they were their first year. Rather, they became hard working students who faced all of the obstacles in their way. Although Geometry gave a few some problems, and just the thought of Speech class made them nervous, the Sophomores continued to work hard to achieve their goals. The Sophomore class was full of class spirit, as it cheered the various athletic teams on to victory. With all their experiences well in mind, and their knowledge of the school well established, the Sopho- mores awaited next year, when they would be upperclassmen at last.
