FLORENCE POSHARD Dean of Girls HENRY STEPPING Dean of Boys -cf ' DR. MARK W. BILLS Superintendent of Schools Acting as Dean of Girls at Peoria High School was Miss Florence Poshard. She counseled girls, worked out honor rolls, enforced ad- ministration policies, and supervised the commencement exercises. Mr. Stepping, in his first year as Dean of Boys, commanded dis- cipline, distributed parking permits, and Was a part of the Senior Na- tional Honor Society selection committee. This was the last year for Dr. Mark Bills to serve as superintendent of Peoria schools. Next Iuly Dr. Claude E. Norcross will take the position. It was the Board's job to determine school policy, finances, teachers' salaries, and business education.
