dministration In his second year as the prin- HARRY WHITAKER cipal of Peoria High School, Mr. Harry Whitaker, with his positive attitude, commanded the respect and the attention of both students and faculty. Mr. Whitaker attended all functions and banquets where Peoria High students received awards. He wrote letters of recom- mendation for students applying for a job or for college. Well-known around the halls, he greeted stu- dents and often took time to chat with them and to leave them with encouragement. Mr. Whitaker was helped by Mr. Harvey Tucker, assistant principal. This year Mr. Tucker was relieved of many of the disciplinary duties, en- abling him to spend more time with making and planning the master programs in coordination with the counselors and faculty. As activities director, he collected eligibility sheets for cheerleaders and boys in sports. Mr. Tucker not only moved into a new office, but also received a new secretary. Both men led Peoria High students on the road to education and progress. Principal .i-JUNK' HARVEY TUCKER Assistant Principal rf .
