l Repair Division General Quarters, General Quarters. All hands man your battle stationsf' A ship's survival at sea depends on its ability to control damage and quickly repair casualties. Repair Division, under the keen eye of the Damage Control Assistant, utilizes its Hull Technicians, Damage Controlmen and Machinery Repainnen to train, maintain and repair the ship in all facets of damage control. The DC men kept their repair lockers and fire fighting equipment ready. They strutted their stuff at a one day, three ship Damage Control Olympics. The HT shop was continuously hot from various fabrications, welding and repair Work completed throughout the ship. HTS often found themselves elbow deep in Waste,' ffor lack of a better wordj, keeping ship's systems flowing. Nearly everyone on board passed through the geared up MR shop d00f, needing services from engraving port viSif plaques to redesigning and manufacturing LCAC fly parts.
