'lltltplii l f Kelly's Heroes, Flush Flashesaonly a few of the things that come out of a cheerleader's head. Believe it or not, we actually do more thanjust paint. Aside from painting signs, designing buttons, and run- ning through the halls on Fri- days, we cheer. With a prac- tically all Senior squad, learning new cheers was no problem. We really sweat it out fliterallyj at our first pep rally due to heat and nervous- ness, but at least no one fainted. We even tried to create a new kind of spirit-informal pep rallies fmust have been the new uniformsj. We be- came noted for our football hoops. A varsity cheerleader's face could even be seen at a wrestling match now and then. We do have problems like fighting for longer pep rallies, more paint and paper, trying to get our uniforms to fit, keeping the hoop together until the end of football, and battling the wind on the top of the refreshment stand. We all did our best for a yearg and for most of us, that was our last! 5. ,W
