BOSCO- Jeppy General Joe's favorite piece is Glenn lVliller's arrangement of Falling Leaves. We do hope that his future will be more successful than his theme song. VELMA BOWERS Vocational Home Economics Glee Club, Staff of Year Book. Ambition-To be a nurse. Velma was always rather quiet, but if you want to get her started, just mention Uncle Sam and the draft. AMELIA CESARE- Millie Business Cwlee Club, Staff of Year' Book. Ambition-To be a secretary. If you ask Amelia what she wants to do when she graduates, she'll give you a different answer every time. We think she'll go to some business college, though, because she is interested in Church- man's. CONSTANCE CURCIO- Connie Vocational Home Economics Staff of Year Book. Ambition-To be a dressmaker or designer, Whenever you see Connie wearing something very new and different, you may be sure it's one of her latest creations. We hope she will become another Schiaparelli. JANE DARROHN- Darry Business Glee Club, Staff of Year Book. Unfortunately for Jane, another jitterbug, her brother with Whom she danced is in the army. Whip was the brilliant quarter-back on our football team this year. If he is as successful through 'the rest of his life as he was in football, he is destined to a great future. ARLENE BARBER General Scientific Glee Club, Band. Arlene's ability to play a clarinet makes her a female Benny Goodman. On the side she has a hobby-photography. Maybe some day she'll show us her pictures. JOYCE BEERS- Beersie Business Staff of Year Book. Hobby-Roller skating. Joyce is a lot of fun when you get to know her. We hear her hobby is roller skating at Bangor on Monday nights. HELEN BELLIS Staff of Year Book. We wonder where she spends all her evenings. l We have here the first class dreamer of the seniors, and to dream you must sleep. Allen actually goes to sleep in class. Shorty is quite useful to have around when it comes to cars, gasoline, and oil. He got his training while working at his father's gas station in Wind Gap. THOMAS C. DAVIS- Bud General Industrial Football l'Bud is the Romeo of our class. He once said that he'd never take the same girl out more than three times. He soon changed his mind after several trips to Bangor. DANTE DEBERARDINIS-- Deber General Scientific Band, Junior Prize Speaking, Staff of Year Book, Football. Deber is always bragging about this or that, but we all know that in spite of what may seem like bragging to some, he is modest at heart and a very likable fellow. JOSEPHINE DENARDO- Jo Vocational Home Economics Staff of Year Book, Honor Society. Jo and HIzzy are always together, in school and out. We don't know much-about their private lives, but then again it's none of our business. JOHN ROBERT DEPP General Industrial Robert is a very able broom pusher. After school you can usually hear him singing as he sweeps. May he always be able to sing as he works! 9 THIRTEEN
