The following class offlcers were elected Presr dent Dale Drerkshelde Vlce Presrdent Robert Brunmg Secretary Pat Clay Treasurer Gladys Rrce Reporter Dons I-lebler The last two weeks m September kept us busy sellrng magazines for the Crowell Collxer and Cur tus publlshmg compames The fxrst great event of the year was having our pictures taken at the Lxvlngston Studlo October 7 Durmg this year we served two banquets Near ly the last project ln whlch we enjoyed workmg as a umt was the production of our senlor class play under the dxrectron of Mrs Cornell CLASS PROPHECY On 22 Barstow Lane a light glowed softly through the dlamond shaped panes of the llvlng room of a small English style cottage lnslde a tabby cat was lymg contentedly on a stone hearth before the leaplnv flames of the fire 1n the old fash loned fireplace The whole room gave the appear ance of a mellow and aged life A small whlte haired flgure of a woman sat rocking to and fro ln a rocker that creaked with the essence of age and around her eyes were lmes etched rn wlth the many years of fme needle work such as she was domg today The clock chlmed three o clock and suddenly out of the stillness came a rap at the door The tabby cat yawned and nslng gracefully to a sxttmg posx tron looked expectantly at the door as the lrttle old lady walked slowly over to the -door and opened rt Pat Clay! a woman rn her flftles exclaimed as fectlonate embrace Why Alxce Baker df all people!
