At the last minute she gets a wire from Ned Innes announcing he is calling on her to discuss the revival of a play Pelelope had starred in when she was younger, but the part called for an eighteen year old girl. Mr. Innes' purpose was really to get money to finance the show. When he saw Marion, one of Penelope Craven's daughters, he knew she would be just right for the part. Kemming JUNIOR ACTIVITIES We began our Junior year with 21 students but during the year we welcomed a former class- mate, Fred Schauer, from Risingsun. Class Officers were elected 'as follows: President Dale Dierksheide Vice President' -f Willard Wegman Secretary Donna Schroder Treasurer Carolyn Rahe Reporter Dolores Avers On November 9, 1948, we presented our play entitled, My Darling Children under the abie direction of Miss Harrison and Mrs. Cornell. During the course of the year we had charge of a chapel program and took part in the inter- c'ass tournament, We had several class parties which were enjoyed by all. We honored the Seniors at the Junior-Senior Prgm on the Gth of May, We the class of 50 hope that as Se11i0I'S next year, we can occupy the place left to us by the class of 49 as well as they.
