how Ha.nk used to take all us kids in his truck? Milly - He has a big 200 acre farm. Tom Bock- brader is a, farmer too. He has a little im- plement business also, deals exclusively with John Deere equipment. Betty - Oh, Milly, could you imagine Doey a farmer's wife? Milly - My, but our class has the hay makers, doesn't it? Paul is quite content in a very cute little ranch style bungalow on his farm. He is experimenting with corng making De- Kalb 939 look sick. I remember 'how inter- ested he was in that chapter in Sociology in cross-breeding plants. Now I under- stand! Milly - Say, talking about experimenting, El- mer has been raising some rare coon dogs. He is president of the Coon Hunters' Asso- ciation in Wood County. Betty - Oh, yes, I read in the Leader that he won first prize with one of his dogs on line and third prize on tree. Milly - Glen Jurgens always went coon hunt- ing too, didn't he? I wonder wihere he is. I Have you heard? Betty - Yes, he joined the Navy. John always talked about joining the armed forces, too. Milly - John is teaching las and foreign lan- guages in Columbia University. Bill is in the army. He is a staff sergeant. Betty - You know, we have talked about al- most all our class. Where is Ruth? Bar- bara makes a cute little nurse, doesn't she? Milly - She certainly does. A couple lears ago wihen she was a delegate from Women's and Chlldren's Hospital in Cincinnati to that con- ference we had she said Ruth was doing bookkeeping and secretarial work for the Athletic Association in Columbus. Betty - Oh, Milly, I forgot to tell you, Tom Sigler is president of that association. Milly - Really! Oh, hasn't this talk been won- derful! I can hardly wait until our next class reunion this fall. Milly - Did you read the American Medical Journal last montlh? Tillie is ea.rnlng herself quite a rplace in the medical world. She is in charge of Pediatrics at Mercy Hospital in Akron. She worked a twenty-four hour shift for two days. Betty - I heard they were terribly short of nurses there. I got a letter from Peg yes- terday. She is I-Ieber's private secretary. He is editor of The Advocate, his small town paper. It consists of five pages I be- lieve. Joyce is doing secretarial work too. Milly - I suppose she is doing well. I remember she was about the fastest typlst in our class. Golly, we used to have a circus in our typ- ing class, didn't we? Betty - What became of Pauline? She was in that class too, wasn't she? Milly - Yes. I was reading a. couple of weeks ago in the Leader about her. She won 1. case for some Pemberville people. She is an extremely brilliant lawyer. I cut the piece out. You may read it tonight. Betty - Where is Daniel now? I know he ani George have been graduated from the semi- nary at Capital. Millv - Oh, I forgot to tell you. Bettv, I planned on having George address our erad- uating class this spring. What do you think of it? Betty - That would be fine! I suppose we will have to arrange the program. Why don't we have Bonnie do a number? She is ow vacation now. After vacation she is going to Pasadina to take a couple of more yen,-'s of schooling I tlhink. It was wonderful to hear her voice over the radio Monday night. wasn't it? MillyfYes, she really did justice to Ave Maieaf' Maybe she could bring Martha with her. We could have a little party, hm? Marty always made things lively, didn't she? Good old Marty! Golly it seems good to be making plans for a party witlh some of our class. Betty - I suppose it would be impossible for everyone in the class to come. Remember WI.LLIAMSON'S Meats Groceries Food Lockers Pemberville, Ohio Phone 43
