GRADES The lower six grades have been faking an ac- live par+ in school acfivilies fhis Year. The oper- ella The Foresf Cour'r was presenfed 'ro a large audience. The proceeds were used lo buy sup- plemeniary books for each grade. The grades have provided fhe program for several P.T.A. meelings, for chapel. and for fhe dedica+ion of +he new building. Special sludy has included Junior Red Cross work and 'rhe sludy of foreign boys and girls. The sludy of arf has been added in +he fourfh, fiflh and sixlh grades. Miss Mueller, Mr. Huebner. and Miss Vandersall, we have accom- plished many ihings. Boys' and girls' glee clubs have been formed. We have sung on various school programs, We enfered 'rhe Couniy Music Fesfival a+ Bowling Green. In addirion io our regular subiecis. 'rhe boys are laugh? shop, while 'rhe girls are given +he advanfage of 'rraining in The foods laboraiory. In Physical Ecluca+ion 'rhe boys played baskeiball wi+h several ofher schools and also played in 'rhe inferclass fournamenf. A boys' baseball feam has been organized. We look our Sfafe Eighih Grade +es+ on April 23. H' included Arifhmeiic, Science. and Ameri- can Hisfory. We also enioyed a Halloween parly given in 'rhe old home economics room. .yy
