During fhe firsf week of school we elecfed fhe following class officers: presidenf, Ralph Coppeler: vice-presidenf, Richard Wagner: secrefary-freasurer, Lois Rahe. During fhe year several of fhe members foolc parf in various afhlefic acfivifies. Our class was unsuccessful in fhe inferclass fournamenf, buf fwo of our classmen, Bonnie Emch and Glenn Sharp, won fhe ping pong fournamenf. Our school parficipafed in fhe Sfafe Scholarship Confesf and we are proud fo say fhaf one of our class. Bonnie Jean Emch, won fhird place in fhe sfafe in Algebra. Our sophomore year began wifh 34 members. During fhe year Lucille Heilman and Desmond Bauman leff us. Our officers for This year were as follows: presidenf, Richard Wagner: vice-presidenf, Roberf Walsfong secrefary-freasurer, Georgia Jay: sfudenf councilman, Ralph Coppeler. Our boys won fhe inferclass fournamenf fhis year, buf fhe girls were defeafed by 'rhe champions in fhe firsf game. Several of our class are members of fhe baskefball and baseball feams. Some of our class had leading roles in fhe opereffa Paper Prayers. We won fhe freshman-sophomore play confesf wifh our presenfafion of Lighf. The social evenfs of one year ended when we aided fhe iuniors, by being fable waifers, af fheir banquef for fhe seniors. We wish fo fhanlc Miss Vandersall for her guidance during fhe firsf fwo years of high school.
