Wi+h Waldo Egberf as presidenl of our class. Roberf Poggemeyer. vice-president and Gil- berf Ernsfhausen as secrefary-freasurer. and Miss Roberfs as sponsor. we became a full-fledged class. We enfered regular class acfivifies. Seven dollars from a magazine conlesl' were deposi+ed in our freasury. The class parfy was held af I-Iarold Res'remeyer's home. and a wiener roasf al' Willard Marfin's grove. In our sophomore year, Frances Wiegman served us as president Waldo Egberf as vice-president and Gerfrude Richfer as secrefary-freasurer. This year we really shone! Waldo Egberf won fhe sfafe essay confesf which enfifled him fo a frip fo Washingfon, D. C. In fhe arhlefic field we +ooIc firsr honors, foo. Our girls won fhe inferclass fournament Our freasury was replenished by a fine refurn from fhe maga- zine campaign. We parficipafed in Ihe firsf freshman-sophomore play confest Our presenfafion was Kidnapping Be+fy. Do you remember how Mr. Ridenour laughed al' our parfy a+ Dolores Schroeder's home? Anofher year! I936. Welcome, Norfh Troy! We called a class meefing early and chose Waldo Egberf as president Frances Wiegman as vice-president Gerfrude Richfer as secrefary, and Dorofhy Czirr as freasurer. Firsf came our class play Chl Susan. Then we served a banquef for fhe Pemberville firemen. Did George Sher- man wash dishes? We nof only served fhe refreshmenfs for fhe inferclass fournamenf fhis year, buf also had The girls' winning feam. On fhe debafe feam which wenl' fo Heidelberg were Lesfer Jenlcins and Waldo Egbert The closing evenfs of 'rhe year were The skafing parfy af Foresf Park and a picfure show in our audiforium. The iunior-senior recepfion on May I4 concluded our ac- fivifies. We were glad 'ro have Miss Roberfs as our class sponsor, and we appreciafe fhe fhings she has done for us.

During fhe year several of fhe members foolc parf in various afhlefic acfivifies. Our class was unsuccessful in fhe inferclass fournamenf, buf fwo of our classmen, Bonnie Emch and Glenn Sharp, won fhe ping pong fournamenf. Our school parficipafed in fhe Sfafe Scholarship Confesf and we are proud fo say fhaf one of our class. Bonnie Jean Emch, won fhird place in fhe sfafe in Algebra. Our sophomore year began wifh 34 members. During fhe year Lucille Heilman and Desmond Bauman leff us. Our officers for This year were as follows: presidenf, Richard Wagner: vice-presidenf, Roberf Walsfong secrefary-freasurer, Georgia Jay: sfudenf councilman, Ralph Coppeler. Our boys won fhe inferclass fournamenf fhis year, buf fhe girls were defeafed by 'rhe champions in fhe firsf game. Several of our class are members of fhe baskefball and baseball feams. Some of our class had leading roles in fhe opereffa Paper Prayers. We won fhe freshman-sophomore play confesf wifh our presenfafion of Lighf. The social evenfs of one year ended when we aided fhe iuniors, by being fable waifers, af fheir banquef for fhe seniors. We wish fo fhanlc Miss Vandersall for her guidance during fhe firsf fwo years of high school.
