0863439861988 N, W T U9 girls' team. Coral received a letter. Our boys' team was victorious in the interclass tournament. When we became juniors we knew a much more eventful year was ahead of us. We were now three fourths of the way across the assembly, the number of extra activities had increased, and seven new students from North Troy had joined us. Our officers this year were Dean Coppeler,Presidentg Richard Haar, Vice Presidentg Helen Palmer, Secretaryg Naomi Hagemeyer, Treasurer. We learned how much fun land workb it is to give a cafeteria. We also served a lunch at the interclass tournament where our boys again won the championship How we engoyed giving our class play HHold Every th1Dg'H It was a very successful production. Our class decided to change the usual custom of pur chasing class rings the senior year and purchase them in our Junior year instead Accordingly, we chose our rings were quite proud to be wearing ours almost as soon as the seniors Again we took many parts in the opeietta UB1ts of Blarneyn At the same time we stood out prominently on the basketball floor The boys' varsity team included the two Bobs CHagg and Hannanl from our class, the Re serves included Wayne Sanders, Forrest Shaw, Dean Coppe ler, Richard Haar, and Oliver Hagg The girls' team was supported by Juanita Hodapp, Coral Thompson,Margaret Tit kemeier, mary Fair, Verna ilert, and Phyllis Williams Some of the most active members of the Annual Staff were from our class mntertaining at the Junior Senior Reception was a delightful crown for this busy, happy year We were very sorry to have our sponsor, Miss Switzen leave us at this time As we took the last thirtv seven seats on the far side of the study hall in September oi last year, we did not know whether to be more happy than sad or vice versus We had attained the rank of seniors It meant that after this ye r we would be pushed out in the world to battle for ourselves It meant that after this year we thirty sexen who h d had so many Jolly times together would be separated p obably never to be together again But we discarded these dismal thoughts to lend our efforts in We elected Clarence Hoodlebrink, President, Dean Coppeler, Vice President, Naomi Hagemeyer, Secretary, and Juanita Hodapp, T1 uler mr John Huebnel assumed the fiase P . . . o ' .1 .L O O ' 1 . + . a J - 0 1 5 f O J E I a l 0 .
