These little kids were Dorothy Schumacher, Patty Stewart, Helen ebbel, Agnes Fehringer, Gerald fehri er, and Dick Stewart. We managed to learn our 'A, B, 's' with the help gg Irs. Hoover. Robert Oliverdus joined us the last six weeks, of the school year. Somehow we all managed to remain together and we gained strength as Joan Hartway and Verda Mae Gage Joined our class. We managed to get through this year with the help of a ot of ioding applied by our teacher Miss Trout. This year we climbed two flights of stairs and we were now big third grad- ers or so we thought. Two new sigdents were added to our class roll. They were Fred Stewart and bert Cloud. is year we were helped through the questions and answers with the help of our very good teacher Hrs. Wolfe. Our fourth grade started out with us gaining two new members David Finley, and Audrey Schilz. We learned our 'reading, riting, and rithmetic,' with the help of our former teacher Hrs. Wolfe. By the time the su mer had passed the school board had decided to put us in the I.0.0.F. hall due to the fact that the school house had burned down during the summer. We contigued to learn the facts of education under the leadership of Kiss Lester. r number was brought up to nine with the addition of Patricia Hegarty. We began our sixth grade education in the new school building. Miss Barton greeted us and steered us tgagugh this year in our new modernistic building.H Audrey chils left for ar City, and we were ioined by Loretta Palmer. This sounded good to a bunch of kids whose necess ty was candy, and bubble gum. Our seventh grade was an uneventful year with Mrs. Hall who taught us the why's and wherefores of this and that. Keith Krause Joined us this year. The year of our eighth grade class arrived and we thought that we were grown up at last. Audrey Schilz was back with us this year. Mrs. Fullen taught us many things and we responded with the best of our ability. Everyone was very excited this year because we would receive our diplomas which every- one wil cherish for his life. Bob Wieser Joined us this year. The students who began our freshman yaar in high school were Joan Hartway, larlene Schila, Auggey Schilz, Loretta Pa er, Robert Oliverius, David Finley Keith Krause, and b Wieser. We managed to struggle through initiation. This year we learned the ropes of high school. Nina Dickson was our sponsor. As we gained a runguof the ladder of education as a sophomore, we lost the two Sch la girls. t we gained Dorothy Schumacher back from the Academy. The other members of the class were Keith Krause, b Wieser, David Yinley, Robert Oliverius, Loretta Palmer, and Joan Hartway. This year we learned the squares, triangles, and trapizoids, of Geometry and the a's and 0's of English. Hr. Borowick, who was coach, was our sponsor. Our Junior year was a big year for us because this was the time when we would give our first high schoo play and the Junior-Senior Prom which went off well much to the delight of everyone. Bur class expanded as two new students Pauline Sperry, and Gerald Fehringer were admitted. Miss Wilkenson was our class sponsor and she was also the music teacher. As we entered the last year of our high school education we hoped we could look back and see that it has taken time and patience of everyone to last out those twelve years of fueding with our teachers. Our class stands at the Doorway to life they are Gerald Fehringer Dorothy Schumacher, Joan Hartway, Loretta Palmer, David Finley Robert Dliverius, Keith Krause, Bob Visser, Pauline Sperry, and Patricia hegarty. 1 Y NW v- .
