A., Earth The Occasion: Reunion of the Class of 1963 The Time: 197 3 The landing area is readied and everything is set forthe first arrivals of the Class of 1963. A First to arrive is that old senior class president himself, Lance Stew- art. He arrives in his now compact spacemobile, compact because of some complications with radar poles. Lance is a smashing success in the O. K. used helicopter business. Look who just zipped in, those two smiling debutantes from Mercury and Mars, Carol Manthe and Patty Taylor. Carol is now an aeronautical mathematics professor at the University of Mercury and Patty teaches English and Martian at the Mars Planetarian College. Jinx Pyle has just come galloping up. He is leader of the Mounted Galaxie Posse, stationed in inner space to keep a watchful eye on Haley's Comet.
