A school year has just come to an end, and another one is about to happen. It may be the most challenging year of your life. There are lots of things to look forward to: voting for the first time, staying up late on New Year's Eve, seeing your first X-rated movie, fighting pollution, ending the war, falling in love, graduating and getting to be on your own, and finding out what it's all about. lt's a time for summing up, too. a time to look back on the past year that helped to make you what you are today. This was a good year in many ways, but at times it might have been amus- ing, maddening, promising, threatening, or saddening. How much of it do you remember? How much do you wish you could forget?
