.,L..W, ,., A -. '- E. T. Manning and Mike Hammond look on as Ann Welch puts make-up on Deanna Richardson before the opening curtain. Marcetta Hamilton looks frightened as Darlene Marney, an inmate of the insane asylum, cries, Out, damned spot! out, l say! Barbara Butler pleads with Jim Kinnebrew for help while Blakie Hart, Barbara Graham, Marcetta Hamilton, and June Johnson watch. JUNl0ll PLAY One Mad Night, which was given by the Junior Class, had its setting in an old vacant house owned by Don Cutler. Don returns for a visit to find that the house has been taken over for the night by a group of inmates from a nearby insane asylum. To bewilder him more Lucille, one of the inmates, tells him that she is being kept prisoner by Dr. Bunn and her lawyer, Artemus Burke. When Gertrude, Don's fiancee, arrives she takes a very dim view of Don's aid to Lucille and breaks off their engagement. To complicate matters Siletto, an escaped convict, arrives and holds everyone captive. But this proves to be the end for Burke and Dr. Bunn. When they try to bribe Siletto to kill Don and Lucille they learn that he is really an actor-friend of Don's getting evidence against them. The play was sponsored by Mrs. Menefee and directed by Mrs. Kelley. The juniors cleared 3268.28 from the play. Cast Don Cutler . . . ........ . . Jim Kinnebrew Lucille . . . ....
