704en We ?4ced tie
An innovation at Patterson was the use of a double cast for the
senior play, "We Shook the Family Tree," a three act comedy, which
was presented on Friday and Saturday, November 18 and 19. Months
before the play, rehearsals for each night's cast were in progress.
Seniors were learning to walk and talk all over again, prompters were
learning to prompt without being heard by the audience, and harassed
student directors were busy meeting deadlines and rounding up stray
thespians. When the night of the play finally arrived, the curtain
went up on a nervous but proud cast of seniors who presented their
production for the eyes and ears of the Pat audience.
