No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main; if a clod he washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory ivere, as well as if a manor of thy friends or of thine own were; any man ' s death diminishes me, because 1 am involved in mankind; and, therefore, never send to knotv for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee. We of Pasadena High School are all involved with each other, in our work and in our play. Our school life brings us close association with both students and faculty and establishes a growing unity with each other. The Pasadenian, one of our many symbols of unity and loyalty, has depicted the three As of association that we encounter: athletics, academics, and activities. Both The Pasadenian and life at Pasadena High School include these three. We are united in athletics, whether we be players or spectators, for we all win or all lose. Of primary importance, both in school and The Pasadenian, are the administrators, teachers and students, the essence of academic life at our school. The last association pictured is one of activities: clubs, dances, parties, and school life in general. As you look through the pages of The Pasadenian or walk through the halls of P. H. S., may you always feel the unity that binds us all together.
