Students use the library in class groups, small groups, or individually for research or for recreational reading. Our library is open throughout the school day, from 8 in the morning until 11:30. Six student assist- ants help the librarians keep our library at- tractive as well as functional.

Miss Agnes Ann McKinley spends a great deal of time counseling the girls of our high school. Sophomore Counselor MRS. MARY PICKENS Junior Counselor MRS. NINA SUE FORBES Senior Counselor MR. GRANVILLE C. KNIGHT Each grade has a counselor. In the counseIor's office can be found information about each student in that particular grade, including the four year plans, tests, and health cards. A maior function of the grade counselor is to assist the student in making out his program, work out his difficulties and assist with schedule changes with- in the grade.
