in E. CQTW-G5 f 4 The Pasadena Homemaking Department was or ganiz. e d about 1927. At this time it was in two rooms in the main building, now Mrs.Slate's room and the teacher's lounge. In 1931 the Home Economics cottage was completed. The Clothing L a b, Foods Lab, k it c he n and dining room were fu r ni s h e dp the rest of the rooms were furnished in 1934. New furniture and fur- nishings were added year after year. In 1947 the cottage received a new coat of paint both ln s1de and out Venetian blinds were placed through out the building and new furniture in the study was bought The kit c hen was remodeled and brought up to date in every respect in 1948 La st year 6 new Singer Sewing machines were added T oday our Homemaking Cottage is one of the best in the State -'hi 41XN ,v v n'i!!! g N ifi :a:1!
