They made our problems seem so small Were ne'er too busy to help when called. The pep meetings, and ball games, too, These gay hours would soon end, we knew, The dances and parties, all stay To be recalled as youth fades away. As we slowly walk down the aisle, We hide our tears and force a smile. Within us there're ioy and sorrow, For we know we'll not come this way tomorrow Page 132
