High points in low season Although not all sophomore and junior varsity players ever make it to the varsity, those who have say that what they went through to get there was worth it when the opportunity came to play at Quigley Stadium. Once we've made it and are there on the field hearing all the fans cheering us on we know it was worth it, said James Dickson, junior. It gives such a feeling of accomplishment. For example, when we played Catholic we were behind and the game was almost over. I was in the huddle and looked up. All I could see 62 Sports was people standing in the bleachers, on the sidelines and everywhere cheering us on. After seeing that, I realized we had to do it, and we did! Meanwhile, the sophomore and junior varsity teams played their seasons, aware that they wouldn't have the fan support of the varsity.
