Top: Ryan Allan Jones, Scott Wynn, Jeff Crrizzel, Rich Wrenn, David Kevin Lucas The Year of the Streak Parkside's 1985 Varsity Baseball team won their first 18 straight games before losing their only game to Northeast High of Anne Arundel County in the first round of the State Playoffs. Finishing 18-1 the Rams captured several titles in the fantastic season. Unde- feated in regular season play, they were CITY CHAMPIONS, BAYSIDE SOUTH CHAMPIONS, and BAYSIDE CHAMPIONS defeating North Caroline 9-1. The team recorded the most wins and the longest winning streak of any other baseball team in Parkside's history. The team had a .560 batting average with 9 runs a game while allowing only 1.5 runs per game. The pitching staff had a 0.97 ERA.
