The Rams had an excellent season despite many hardships along the way. They finished the year with a 7-5 record, an outstanding ac- complishment considering no game was played with a full squad of starters. The big- gest upset was Senior Andre Scott suffering from a hairline fracture of the wrist. After that, Ram after Ram fell victim to the injury bug. The highlight of the Ram season came when they upset Stephen Decatur 25-12. The Deca- tur coach remarked, They soundly beat us at our ovm game. Coach Briscoe summed up the season best, Desire and teamwork put this team together and they won when they should not have. Defensive End Darrell Brow and Kicker Jai lsear were selected to the All Bayside First Team while Lester Dale and Horace Bratten made All Bayside Second Team. Injuries were a serious problem for the Rams but each member pulled togeth- er to make up for the losses. Senior Bryan Watson is to be congratulated because he was selected to play in the All-State game. Bryan showed what the south had when he scored the only goal. Way to go Bryan!
