As freshmen at Parkside, we expected to learn, to participate athletically and socially, and to contribute in a positive way to our school. We soon adjusted to schedules and easily made new friends. The time ar- rived to decide who was going to lead the '84-'85 Freshman class through the year. The emerging winners of class office po- sitions were as follows: President, Tony Guinta, Vice-President, Brian Massey: Historian, Steve Robinson, and Treasur- er, Rim Lennox: Teni Ritter, Secretary. Homecoming was soon upon the stu- dents. The Freshman class finished strongly in all spirit week activities. The Freshmen also showed their school spir- it by placing a respectable second place in the All Sports Night games, second only to the seniors. The Freshman class of '84-'85 has three more years to complete it's goal of graduation. This year was a strong step in the right direction.
