Gur Town On October 25 and 26, 1984, Parkside's Senior Class pre- sented Our Town, written by Thornton Wilder and directed by Ms. Dorothy Yeatman. Our Town, which won a Pulitzer Prize for its author, is one of the best-loved and most often presented plays in Ameri- can theater. lt follows the lives of two families, the Webbs and the Ciibbses, who live in Grover's Corners, New Hamp- shire in the early 1900's. Focusing specifically on Emily Webb and George Gibbs, the play shows us three days in their lives, tracing their growth from childhood school days, into adolescence and marriage, and finally to Emily's death, completing the great cycle of human existence.
