Advanced senior English classes have uti- lized seminar to its utmost with a free interplay of thoughts and ideas. Both senior and advanced ju- nior students take a specialized look at English literature through a blend of films, lectures, and creative writing. Those students participating in the Humanities courses blend English with other forms of expression such as drama, music and art. The future looks bright for the English department with the pos- sible additions of new elective courses which encompass the goals and ideals of the total stu- dent. if

Art The different fields of art are interesting and useful. A student is taught about colors, forms, textures, shapes,and howto usethem effectively. Having learned this, he works with water colors, chalk, and ink. The more advanced students use silk screens, clay, and oils. Two main assets arise from this class, an in- crease in student perception, and the develop- ment of free, creative expression. The cultiva- tion of individuality leads to ideas for a better community.
