entre nous Entre Nous was an experiment in enjoyment, organized to introduce its mem- bers to foreign foods and cultures. The club held dinner meetings at a num- ber of Portland restaurants including the Kitchen Kettle, Chalet l'Abbe and Amalfi's. Coordinated programs were presented by speakers who had travelled abroad and brought items of interest. forensics The Forensics Club, a group organized with the common enjoyment in public speaking, spent a busy year preparing speeches and attending tournaments. At their meetings, members gave . speeches for the rest of the group and then listened to criticism and suggestions for im- provement. This served as preparation for tourna- ments at Pacific Univer- sity and Linfield College. At these tourna- ments, two girls, Linda Farris and Linda Fulcher made the finals. In ad- dition, this year Park- rose hosted the Wilco League Debate Tourna- ment and initiated a Nov- ice Tournament, giving students who have never participated in a speech tournament the needed experience.
