booster Club The Booster Club members are certainly people on the move as they travel long distances to make up a large portion of the cheer- ing crowds at all athletic events not held at Parkrose Membership into the club is merely the payment of dues which go for insur- ance and driving costs. The members of Booster Club sign up for trips under the organization of the president, Jackie Holmes, and her assist- ants, Karen Acker, Cassandra Starkel, Sharon Warrington, and Joyce Wilson, guided by Mr. Godsil. The Booster club is indeed a necessity to the exceptional Parkrose rooting section.

forensics The Forensics Club, a group organized with the common enjoyment in public speaking, spent a busy year preparing speeches and attending tournaments. At their meetings, members gave . speeches for the rest of the group and then listened to criticism and suggestions for im- provement. This served as preparation for tourna- ments at Pacific Univer- sity and Linfield College. At these tourna- ments, two girls, Linda Farris and Linda Fulcher made the finals. In ad- dition, this year Park- rose hosted the Wilco League Debate Tourna- ment and initiated a Nov- ice Tournament, giving students who have never participated in a speech tournament the needed experience. For- ensics has provided an ex- cellent interest club for the talented speakers at Parkrose. Miss Bennion- Adv. Karren Smith-Pres. Linda Farris-Sec.
