Shana The past year proved to be an exciting one for Shana, the junior girl's service club, since they were involved in various activities throughout the year. The girls started the year off by serving at the Homecoming dinner. During the Christmas season, Shana was in charge of putting on the Christmas Tea and Dance held in the cafeteria. .,. I x, .L,---..g Alphg-Daka, a senior girls service club, held activities in three areas: service, fundraising, and entertain- ment. The twenty-three girls organized this year's Thanksgiving' assembly, and then Went on to sponsor a book drive. For weeks students contributed used books in good shape that they had no use for, and the Alpha-I-Daka girls sorted them and evaluated their worth. They sold them to other stu- dents. The money earned from the book drive went toward sponsoring the Spring Cotton Informal where they crowned Pat Conner King Cotton. twana-kai Twani-Kai, the Sophomore service club, accomplished a lot this year after getting a late start. For service to the school, they served at two of the banquets which were given this year.
