They ride a school bus to the ski area, which leaves the school at 7:00 A.M. and returns around 5:00 P.M. The days are spent taking lessons, or just practicing on the different slopes which are available. The members get to know each other well, and soon discussions and sing- ing takes up the time which must be spent on the bus. f.l'1.a. The organization of Future Homemakers of America spent an active year enjoying such projects as sales and Christ- mas activities. The girls suc- cessfully sold cook books and baked goods during the winter months. At Christmas they as- sembled food baskets and col- lected toys for the children of the Waverly Baby Home. All the girls benefited from a cos- metic demonstration by Judy Van Vickle held in February. The main highlight was their Induction Banquet held at the lavish Barbary Coast Restaur- ant.
