lettermanis club The Letterman's Club, one of Parkrose's most active organizations, is open to all boys who have earned a Parkrose High School varsity letter. The members provide service to the school in many capacities, including operating the change booth in the cafeteria dur- ing the two lunch periods throughout the year. During Homecoming Week, the boys gathered wood for the big bonfire. To raise money for the scholarship fund, the members actively sold tickets to the OSU Rooks-Bernard's Molars game in February. They also sponsored two after-game dances and presented a beautiful Valentine's dance, the Sweethearts Ball. Through these activities this club has participated fully in giving service to our school. g.a.a. The Girls Athletic Association has done an out- standing job in creating interest in sports for the girls of PHS. The intramurel program has been expanded and has caught the interest of people who before were not interested in this type of school activity. Mrs. Blackburn is to be commended for the wonderful job she has done in making this organization into one which offers both fun and learning for those who belong. Mrs. Blackburn-Adv.
