These students meet before each Student Council meeting to present new ideas or discuss the merits of new proposals. From this meeting comes the agenda for the following Stu- dent Council meeting. This year's Executive Council, recognizing the growth and renewed im- portance of the Student Store, proposed that a representative from the Store be made a perma- nent member of the Executive Council. This pro- posal was eagerly passed by the students. An active organization, this group acts as the hub of Student Council activities. ...I I' The Inter-Club Council, composed of a repre- sentative from each club, found itself quite busy throughout the year. I.C.C. handled Homecoming Week with a great amount of success, staging the best coronation assembly ever presented. At Christmas, they organized the canned food drive, encouraging students to bring in more food than in any past year. Two money-raising basketball games were handled through I.C.C. In the spring the students undertook the making of a robe and scepter to be used in coronation assemblies of the future. Besides these extra activities, I.C.C. coordinated club activities and gave its aid to clubs needing help, making the council a suc- cessful addition to the organizations of PHS.
