9U'WlCMfl cl 6 The purpose of the German Club is to stimulate interest in the language and culture of German-speaking people. The German Club sponsers Rolf Gaengel a small German orphan. The members are kept busy earning money to help support Rolf. Throughout the year the German Club holds occasional dinners at restaurants which feature foreign foods. The students all agreed that eating Armenian food at the Kitchen Kettle was quite an enjoyable experience

The club's main project is the adoption of a small orphan boy, Sabas Granada Ramon, who lives in Mexico. The advisor, Mr. Horswell, and the president, Marilyn Nice, have kept the mem- bers busy earning money which is sent monthly to Sabas. The club's social activities in- cluded dinners at restaurants which feature foreign food . 45
