CQUUS fcfox .SLU ln October, T964, Julie Cornelius, Kathy Kirby, Marcia McQuaw, and Ginny Eder, represented the Annual Staff at the Ore- gon Scholastic Press Conference in Eugene. From this conference they brought back many new ideas which were instrumental in changing the look of this year's EQUUS FEROX. The year started with discussions, lead by last year's members, about lay-out design, and copy and photographic pro- cedures. Next, the section editors were chosen and given the names of the people who would work with them. Then the work really began. There were pages to be assigned, lay-outs to be drawn up and approved, paste-ups to do, copy to write and deadlines to meet. But after all the aspirins and tranquilizers, everything began to fit into place, and lol an EQUUS FEROX. Qucf sto The i964-65 Bud Staff did an excellent iob editing this year's newspaper. Once every two weeks found the stuff and the student body eagerly awaiting their finished product-another edition of the Bud. Under the supervision of Mr. Perry, the staff attended the annual High School Press Conference and sponsored on after-game dance. This group is to be commended for a yeor's worlc very well done.
