Laughter and the ioy of winning a game -C 'S sparked the Sophomore Mixer, the first real gathering, of the -lr class of '67. Their debut as the largest class in the history Q of Parkrose showed a willingness to participate in all phases cj of the school--athletic and social 'as well as academic. W Election of officers and Homecoming princesses, and the construction of their Homecoming display, introduced the ' sophomores to some of the traditions and activities that they take part in during their high school years. The sophomores proved their ability to accept responsi- bility by maintaining the activities sign in the cafeteria. A great contribution to the annual toy drive and the introduc' tion to semester exams highlighted the halfway point in their year. President ' GUVY Dfals Through bouts with spring fever the sophs struggled with biology and JULIUS CAESAR and broadened their know- ledge of the life of high school students. With the onset of summer, the class of '67 can look back on a year filled with events they will remember as a stepping stone to their life as an adult in the fast-paced and moving world of today.
